LCSW, LMFT, CST-S (she, her, hers)

Relationships can provide us with our greatest joy in life — but they can also serve us our deepest pain. I experienced this first hand when my marriage of 28 years ended.

I got married at a relatively young age and shortly after, we uprooted our lives in Michigan (via Cincinnati) to move to Colorado. The early years of my marriage were filled with joy and amazing new experiences. Over the years, I had two wonderful sons and our family nestled comfortably into our new life in Colorado. While I was happy enough with my life, over time I couldn’t help but sense that there was something missing; that part of me was missing.

This is when I decided to attend the Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Denver. My life began to expand in ways I never anticipated and I grew into the person I knew was always in there, hidden away.

My divorce became the catalyst for my personal revolution. I understood how important it is to be in tune with a partner, and how much I value deep and meaningful connections. I’m passionate about helping people live their best lives, individually and relationally.

I have been an individual therapist, couples’ counselor, and sex therapist for more than 15 years. I bring the lessons I’ve learned in and out of the classroom to provide the coaching, feedback, gentle challenges, support, skills, and tools I wish I had when my marriage was floundering.

We’re a good fit to work together if you:

    • Want to cultivate more intimacy in your relationship
    • Want to build a stronger emotional bond with your partner
    • Want to learn how to communicate more effectively
    • Are ready to break free from old patterns that are keeping you stuck
    • Have mismatched sexual desire levels from your partner and want to get on the same page
    • Want to explore your strengths as an individual and as a couple
    • Are curious, open, and committed to working on yourself and your relationship

Relationships can give us our greatest joy, and they no longer have to be our biggest source of pain. You can have the relationship you always imagined and the one that you deserve.
